New record achieved in domain parking

New-record-achieved-in-domain-parkingHello everyone,

July was one of the best month for me in terms of domain parking. In the past I said my goal is to make US$1,000 for the last month of this year or Jan 2014. So now this mini goal seems to be quite realistic because I made almost US$700 in domain parking last month which for me is great achievement. Now the important thing is to stick to the basics and make sure I am making the same amount or more on consistent basis.

I saw this increase due to buying some domains solely on parking purpose. Normally I buy domains with the intention of selling and making money through parking on temporary basis.

The highest click so far in domain parking for me is $13.xx for one of my domain and that’s a last name of person. That must have boosted the amount reaching towards US$700 šŸ˜‰

Now for the month of August I will be tweaking some of my domains so I am not sure if the revenue will drop or increase. Let’s see and I will keep you updated as always.

Care to share how was your previous month in terms of domain parking?

Congrats for this success. by the way, I guess some of those domains which are earning parking revenue to you may be worth developing too.

Thanks for your insight. That’s right and I will be developing one of that domain in couple of months time. Although that doesn’t get much type-in traffic daily but the name is good enough to be developed.

How was your previous month in terms of domain parking?

  3. Irfan says:

I don’t have any parking revenue as most of my domains I own are new. Anyway, thanks for your concern.

      Thanks mate šŸ™‚

Generally I don’t buy domains based on backlinks traffic in order to make revenue from parking. I just buy names which has type-in traffic which matters the most. I park them until they get sold and I am able to generate some extra revenue from it.

I might be looking deeply about buying domains with existing traffic with the help of backlinks.

In the meantime you can read this post which is helpful to analyze the number of backlinks and specially the quality of backlinks. This way you can easily decide whether to buy that particular domain or not…

Once again thanks for the compliment and commenting šŸ™‚

Just recently started parking with RookMedia (moved from Sedo), I’ll let you know how much I make next month.
Haven’t been able to get into DomainNameSales, the only cited reason is I have to few domains. I applied with 75, so not really sure there. But nonetheless very excited to see how RookMedia shapes up!

Thanks Taytay. That’s really good move from you by moving domains from Sedo to RookMedia. I am sure you will make more money with it. Keep us updated how things unfold for you.

I don’t think DomainNameSales rejects because of having less number of domains under your belt. One of the primary reason for rejecting is the quality of domains and high number type-in traffic.

Congrats mate, on getting near to your earning goal.

Taytay, I agree with you. I received the same message from DNS when I tried to apply for parking (you have few domains).

Can anyone tell me how many domains are their prerequisite?

  7. AbdulBasit says:

    Thanks Ahsan šŸ™‚

I don’t think there is any minimum number of domains to be submitted with DNS. The only thing which matters the most is quality of domains and decent type-in traffic.
