Several more domain purchases of 2017

Hello and Asslamo Alaikum,

I think the last acquisitions post was made in February 2017 so I thought it’s the time to share once again.

Beginning of this month, I now have hit the mark of 1,500 domains in my portfolio.

Usually I share only few domain purchases and try to post those which gives clear idea of what type of names I acquire and this may help others in understanding. This doesn’t mean one should start buying similar type of names and you should be doing your own research as everyone has their own budget, knowledge, skills, ideas and luck, etc.

I have had a little success in selling .CO domains for profit and I always like to buy 1 word .CO names and 3L .CO which are good to invest IMO. So this year I got several of them which are listed below.

Renovations.CO, Craze.CO, Courtney.CO,┬áLynch.CO – Got 1 word .CO names which I think are good to have.

COK.CO, NOI.CO, LUS.CO, LOR.CO, TAY.CO, TEZ.CO, MDN.CO – These type of combinations are selling for low-mid 4 figures range and I think they are good to invest. But prepare to hold them for long time as they are not 3L .coms čśë

FoodShopping.com – Online food/grocery store.

BeExtreme.com – Adventure/sports loving, an aggressive and positive tagline.

LookAround.com – I love to invest in such highly brandable domain which can be used for multipurpose. You just name it. Thanks to Jamie Zoch (DotWeekly) for helping in acquiring this domain.

TheWater.com – Again a domain which can be used for many different niches and not only a water supply/bottle, aqua related company. And again thanks to Jamie for the same above reason čÖé

Cryptyc.com – Crypto related company.

BornToSparkle.com, BornToImpress.com, BornToInnovate.com – Long shot names.

ChallengersGroup.com – Sensible group names always does well. Although singular would have been better.

SHST.com, AGFF.com, OZHT.com, CMNZ.com┬á– Can’t live without buying 4L .com domains even though I know they are slow to sell čśÇ

Some recent domain acquisitions of 2017

Hello and Assalamo Alaikum,

It’s been over 6 months since I last shared my latest acquisitions. Time passed so quickly and I just didn’t knew the gap in between got too long. Because I think sharing every quarter is good idea. Okay, so let’s come to the point and below you will find some of my 2017 domain acquisitions:

PrintFactory.com – Made it look colorful to match with the print word ;).┬áRecently ThePrintful.com acquired Printful.com for $100,000 and PrintScape.com sold for $10,000. It’s a great name to be added in our portfolio.

AdvancedLaser.com –┬áVast field and huge potential in this domain.

AhiGroup.com –┬áMy highest sale to date for LLLgroup.com was DcsGroup.com which sold for mid 4 figures┬áin 2014. Since that time, I have been buying several LLLgroup.com domains and this has great potential as well. Although age doesn’t matter to me but just thought to share it’s creation date is way back in 1996.

C9Group.com – My first letter+numeric combination domain ending with group. Yet to get into my GoDaddy account. Anyone having success story with similar domains?

AABI.com, MWSA.com, PACW.com, AJBY.com – Some 4L .com added. I think having 7-10% 4L .com in your portfolio is good to keep balance but I acquired plenty last year which makes it 12% of 4L .com in my portfolio.

Vivaria.com – I see plenty of upgrades.

LifeAsItHappens.com – I like phrase domains as does Mike Mann and Mike Berkens.

Shonky.com – Brandable. Tons of upgrades.

iWannaPlay.com – Fun/Gaming/Entertainment website.

GwadarHotels.com, TravelGwadar.com, GwadarTravel.com – Not sure how many of you’re aware of Gwadar but it’s a worldÔÇÖs largest deep sea-port and is in Pakistan.

Some recent acquisitions until June 2016

Hello and Assalamo Alaikum,

As I previously shared my January and February 2016 acquisitions together, today I wanted to show some more domains which I acquired in recent time. Just wanted to add that I hit the 1300 mark of domains under my belt.

RIMG.com,┬áJAYN.com, TIRC.com, ZSLI.com, ZRSI.com, ZAIC.com, JISB.com, GITZ.com, ACAW.com – Some of the 4L .com I bought recently. I am always looking for similar combinations.

GutCheck.com – This domain was previously owned by Mike Berkens and sold to GoDaddy when he sold his big chunk of portfolio to them. I bought from GoDaddy with the help of Jamie Zoch. Thanks to him for finding the gem at reasonable┬áprice.

Komex.com,┬áVican.com,┬áPrimarius.com, CityFirst.com – I love such brandable domains which can be developed into anything. The more possibilities, the more bigger reward.

Klinkenberg.com, TomWhite.com, Ayushi.com – Difficult not to┬álist┬áperson names when sharing recent acquisitions čśÇ

TheCow.com – Very aged domain (1996). Although age doesn’t matter when I buy domain but I am always fond of “the” domains.

BioHair.com –┬áSensible┬áhealth related domains always pay off well and it’s one of them.

FairDeal.com –┬áDeal domains always do well and this domain can turn out to be one of the biggest shopping/deals portal.

POM.org, WIL.org – Since I last mentioned of buying LLL.org domains, the prices have gone a bit high. I am creating competition but that’s okay as far as I am bringing awareness and sharing what I think is right to buy in current market.

LaCity.com – The City or Los Angeles City or anything else city as well.

SignatureRealty.com – Authorititive name for any real estate agency/firm.

To summarize things in short, I look for domains where I can see lot of potential and possibilities for endusers to develop my domain into anything they like to. The more restricted, the less chance of selling and getting good price.

Some recent domain acquisitions and more five figure sales

Hello and Assalamo Alaikum,

It’s been long time since I last shared my domain purchases with you guys and I wanted to share some of the recent acquisitions.

TimJohnson.com – I am a big fan of buying person names. Although I see people inquiring on such domains are offering mostly under $100 but I am still happy to buy such common two word names which will definitely pay off one day.

EMA.CO – Already sold couple of .CO names in five figures to date and I am seeing .CO is growing as always and buying short, person name is always good if you are getting it at the right price in my opinion.

Brent.net – This is much more common name than the above two word person name. ┬áEven it’s a .net domain, I still like it because it’s quite common name in U.S. (Correct me if I am wrong).

Phresh.com – Love such type of brandable domains. Already received dozens of inquiries to date.

TheWonderland.com – Never sold a domain with the starting word “the” but always fond of buying such type of names as I have seen good┬átrack record of these “the” starting domains.

ILCS.com – Prices of LLLL.com has increased dramatically compared to last year. I still feel it’s the time to buy quality LLLL.com no matter whether it’s Western or Chinese premium. Just buy it if you are getting at the right price. I found ILCS overall a good combination.

QeMedia.com – Raymond Hackney likes to buy LLmedia domains and I think we are on the same boat. Although I have very few LLmedia domains.

204040.com and 118886.com – I like the first one due to sequence and the other with 3 consecutive 8’s. Someone looking for more insight about them can reach out to Chinese please čśë

OnlineGraphics.com – I know you must be thinking that GraphicsOnline is better but that’s what I could get.

PLUP.com –┬áDecent name for any startup looking for short, catchy and brandable domain.

The above domain acquisitions are very few which I shared and just chosen randomly to list here. I simply tried to share a mixture of short, brandable, two word names to have an idea of what domains I usually buy.

Just recently I shared some domain sales which included a five figure sale and I am happy to announce that I had 2 more five figure sales after that!

One of the five figure sale I cannot disclose because the buyer requested not to share it but the other one I had through Afternic where the broker contacted first and asked the price for the domain Dowin.com. Normally I ask buyers to present their offer but rarely I quote the price. I asked for $15,000 NET and the response was that the buyer’s budget is 15K max and after commission I will get $12,500 which I gleefully accepted and the deal was swiftly done. Not much negotiation done so nothing more to share about this particular sale čśÇ By the way, the buyer seems to be┬áfrom China.

Many thanks Escrow.com and Afternic.com as each of those sale were completed through them.

My recent domain acquisitions including LLL.com

My-recent-domain-acquisitions-including-LLL.comHello and Assalamo Alaikum,

Yesterday Konstantinos shared some more domain purchases which he made in 2014 and one must check those names as what type of domains to acquire. That may help you in building your own quality portfolio. Below are some of the names I recently acquired:

GRO.com – I think it took too long to acquire LLL.com but finally I did it.

ACFA.com – I used to like LLLL.com but now I must start loving LLLL domains after the sale of BMGL.com čśë

EaMedia.com – Almost paid 1k for this name and once the auction was over, I thought I paid little more than I initially set budget for this domain. However, I feel this can pay off well if I hold the domain for quite some time.

FilaBrasileiro.com – Will leave this one up to you to decide whether this acquisition was good or bad. It’s a dog breed and some developed sites but what impressed me was 60,500 exact searches at Google Keyword Planner.

TheNewton.com – I love “the” word domains.

TheRestless.com – Same as above.

AboveBeyond.com – To me this is a decent brandable domain which can be used for many different purposes. Got for just under 1k.

Nieuwenhuis.com – I love person names. Quite difficult name to spell čśÇ

Stephane.net – Isn’t this a common name with this spelling too. Although it’s a .net but I still like it.

Papandrea.com – Not as difficult spelling as the couple of above names.

Would love to have your feedback and feel free to share the domains which you recently acquired.
