Hello everyone,
This year I’m clearly noticing a spike in inquiries and sales coming for the newly acquired domains whether through auctions or private purchases. To clarify one thing, with recent I mean within the 6 months period of acquisition. It shows that endusers are more watchful and waiting for those domains to have a proper sales lander to be contacted because many of them have no idea how to contact the domain owner especially after the GDPR implementation.
I’ve not only seen an increase in the number of inquiries but most importantly I’ve sold a very few domains as well this year after buying it this year itself.
Take one of my recent domain sales examples HempAndHeal.com which I acquired for $199 via DropCatch on 11th November 2020. I sold it for $19,888 on 16th April 2021.
If anyone wants to know how I evaluate my domains can check this out.
Have you experienced such a thing in recent times? I would love to hear your side of the stories 🙂

Hello Abdul, how is everything going? Another great success sale of yours, and it was a good yield in a short amount of time. Landers have helped domain sellers to bring in sales without a doubt, especially within these times. End users are grabbing domains at a quicker rate than years ago for many reasons. Some of the reasons are as follows: 1) People have been in lockdown so most have been at home on their computers/laptops. This has increased the amount of people online, and many who have wanted to purchase in the past have seen the digital domain… Read more »
Hi Matt,
Everything is going great at my end and I hope you’re doing well too.
Thanks once again for your detailed comment which is useful to read. I totally agree with all your points.
I appreciate your valuable contribution to the blog and this will always be remembered 🙂
AbdulBasit – you are very generous in sharing sales and acquisitions. What we can learn from you is that there are still opportunities that exist in the aftermarket for good domains which can be converted for an astronomical ROI. As always you’re great!
Shukria Tauseef bhai 🙂
Yes, you’re right. The only difference is the competition has get more due to which more money is needed than ever before to enter into domaining and operate as a full time business.
Congratulations on your successes, flipping with 9999.6% is truly incredible.
To be honest, very few of us could do something like that, you have to have a name, in the global domain market.
Thank you Jose!
It’s not common to flip such quickly at such a high ROI. But when you’ve the leverage of good quality of domains along with thousands of domains, then your chance increases of making that to happen.
Thank you, for your true answer this domain was very good.
You did it again 👏 There surely has been an increase in enquiries on my end as well .Positive signs and more sales coming .
Thank you Emeka!
Also thanks for sharing your experience. Nice to see things are picking up well for us.
Best wishes!
Abdul, this is extremely impressive sale. It goes to say that dotCOM is truly King. Congrats
Thank you for the feedback. I totally agree with you Dee 🙂
Alhamdulillah, Abdul bhai great flip
Thank you Satyadeep bhai for always commenting and your feedback 🙂
Always enjoy reading your domain sales posts Abdul and this might be the best one yet.
I am just curious to know what lending page tool you are using if you don’t mind sharing.
Thanks for your feedback and I’m happy that you like this particular sale a lot 🙂
I’m currently using Afternic (ns3/ns4) landers and one of my domains you can see – BeeGreen.com
What platform do you use to sell on?
Using Afternic landers (ns3/ns4).
Also listed all domains at Sedo.
Hi Abdul. Thanks for your great posts here and on NP. What do you think about the new Afternic BIN Landers in comparison to NS3/NS4? Have you tested them?
Are they too direct, while a call maybe creates some sort of connection that helps a sale?
Thanks for commenting George.
I haven’t tested NS5/NS6 and I don’t want to try BIN only lander because I might be ready to give some space on the BIN price but with just BIN option for the buyer, I might end up losing the sale. I know the broker contact is mentioned but still I don’t see it will make any significant difference unless they come up with either payment plan option or BIN + Make Offer lander.
That’s a great sale. Well done. I can see that BeeGreen has a BIN of 75K and min offer of 19888. Did you use the same pricing strategy for HempAndHeal?
Thanks Richard!
HempAndHeal.com had BIN of $19,888 and a minimum of $9,888 but the domain was purchased via BIN.
