Hello everyone,
It has been an amazing year so far in terms of domain sales and on 12th April, I sold the domain Overloop.com via Sedo for $42,888. I acquired it more than 7 years back in three figures. I’m once again amazed by the quick service from Sedo and very much thankful to them for handling this deal very smoothly and professionally. The buyer hit the BIN on 9th April and due to the weekend, the next two days were holidays so on Monday the payment was received by Sedo. Domain transferred and transaction completed the same day!
I’m not sure who the buyer is but I used to quote $18,888 back in 2016 and 2017. Later in 2018 when I did repricing of my domains so I revised it to $42,888 and until the domain was sold, the price remained the same.
I checked all the previous inquiries and found the lowest two offers were in 2016 for 1 and 5 Euros respectively 😉

estibot says its worth $550. LOL. Really shows you how bad those services are.

And still a lot of people including investors and endusers rely on such crappy services. It’s understandable that endusers have lack of knowledge so they look out for some appraisal tools but when I see domainers regularly rely on automated tools, that’s just not acceptable.

Thanks for the heads up. I got aware after you shared it. That’s interesting to see them buying it. I knew the buyer is from Belgium when the domain was purchased via Sedo because that’s the only information we can have (country of buyer).
How do you know they are the buyer? The name shows a GoDaddy sale page.
You may check the WHOIS which reflects the company Gekko mentioned.

There was absolutely no option for any minimum offer at Sedo as I use only BIN at Sedo.

I regard your sales as a benchmark for other successful investors who not share their sales. Accordingly, if I evaluate the domain market scenario for – quality domain names – looks too bright even with such high five figure BIN prices. Anyway, many congrats!

As per the WHOIS and as Gekko above mentioned, the new owner of this domain is https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/prospect-io so most probably they’re going to upgrade to this domain because I don’t see any product or service offered by them with this name.
