Hello and Assalamo Alaikum,
It’s the second annual DomainX Conference 2015 coming up this year which will take place from 7-8th August in Banglore, India at The Taj West End, voted as the number one business hotel in India & number two in the world by the Conde Nast Traveller UK.
There will be some key speakers like Ron Jackson, Frank Schilling, Zak Muscovitch, Jason Schaeffer and a few more. Conference organizer Manmeet Singh informed me about DomainX Conference some time back and he invited me to be one of the speakers at his conference for which I am very much thankful. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend this year’s conference mainly due to accident and shifting to new place for which I need some time to settle down everything. Hope I can attend in 2016.
You can reserve tickets online and feel free to share here if any one you are going to attend this conference so others might get in touch with you easily.
Assalamo Alaikum, hope you are recovering now. Its disappointment that you are not able to visit India. I would have definitely met you at the conference.
WaAlaikum Salaam Sameeruddin,
Yeah, I am getting better and will require at least this month in order to start typing properly with both hands. Let’s keep in touch and once I plan to visit India, will definitely inform you 🙂
Thanks for your conern bro 🙂
It’s good to see domain conferences are gearing up in India too. But, I learned it somewhere on net that auctioning of .in domains are restricted. Still, is that rule is applicable?
on the other hand, Intenet in India is picking up fast and domains should also, With 80% still needs to get connected the field is wide open. AbdulBasit, thanks for sharing. And, good to note that you’re invited as a speaker. I hope next time you will be able to make it.
Yeah, that’s good sign for India and the entire domain community.
I think I heard that news too but where exactly you are talking about the restriction of auctioning .in domains? I mean which marketplaces or are you saying the restriction is from the .in registry itself?
If 80% of people are still to get connect, that’s huge in numbers because the population of India is big and that really matters in everything.
Yeah, let’s hope for the best and will be in touch with you in this regard 🙂
I’ve this Namepros link.

I think more information is required on this issue.
More info is here – http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/lowdown/2014/dailyposts/20140623.htm
Are you looking for something more specific or anything which is missing?
Actually, I would like to read the .in sale restriction information from the .in registry itself, but I couldn’t get any links.
Not exactly sure about that but someone might have an answer to your question at any domain forum like NamePros.com 🙂
Hey Abdul.
Awesome. Glad to see there will be a domain conference in India. That’s amazing! Good for the community and the industry.
I won’t be able to attend this one but I am looking forward to go to my first domain conference some time in the near future.
Also, I am going to send you a personal email, I have a question!
Thanks and I hope you have a great time.

Yeah, that’s good specially for Indians and domain industry.
Sure, let me know whenever you plan to attend one in future. We might be able to make it together 😉
Thanks for coming and your feedback bro 🙂
