Hello and Assalamo Alaikum,
Today I was renewing some of my .IM domains and found that DomainMonster.com is giving away free .IM domain along with 4 mailboxes.
As per their website, purchase or renew a new domain, website builder or hosting package and we’ll give you a .im plus 4 mailboxes to use with it, free for a year. An excellent opportunity to save over $45 and gain a memorable online presence at the same time!
To get your free .im and .im email addresses either:
Search for a new domain above or log in and renew an existing name.
Renew or purchase a new hosting package so you can create a WordPress website on your domain or even host multiple websites.
Renew or purchase a new Website Builder package and start building a site. No tech knowledge needed with this terrific template-based tool.
Once you’ve added one of the above products to your basket, you’ll be given the opportunity to search for and add your free .im and email addresses to your basket at the Checkout stage.
For more details you may visit their site and check out yourself.
Hi, I wouldn’t go out of my way with domainmonster personaly, the site is dated, transfer is stiff, infrastructure is hard work, but very friendly staff. Need to be.
ie. There dot im search does not resolve, but just lists as a general search. This I found quite standard when I had a few uk names with them.
Cheers.
Howie,
I agree with you on these points. I have just kept .IM domains with them because my preferred registrar Uniregistry doesn’t offer .IM domain so far. Getting something for free isn’t that bad. You can always move out that domain to Name.com when the renewal time comes…

Hi it seems the .im is free only if purchase a hosting plan?
I got free .IM domain when I was renewing some of the .IM domains. Purchasing hosting plan doesn’t seems to be necessary though.
Thanks for the tip, I don’t have any .im extensions. Anyway, I think, you have sold some .im domains earlier. Am I right?
Sold a few in the past and SEO.IM being the standout sale for 4K. It wasn’t that difficult compare to these days when all new gTLDs have come out. Still I would say that keeping high quality words in .IM will pay off some day in future.
I used to own over 30 .IM domains but now a days less than 15 and I am happy with the current lot.
@AbdulBasit Makrani,
Just for your info, If you’ve missed it, I noticed ( Rail.im ) sold for $1,326 in the recent DNJournal report.
Yeah, I was aware of that sale and there was another one Bus.IM for $2,730. It seems buyer is same for both domains.
