Another domain sold through for high four figures and Assalamo Alaikum,

This is my 100th published post so please congratulate me 😉

As you can read in one of my previous post where I mentioned of holding domains instead of selling them for quick cash. I want to squeeze out maximum money from each domain so that I don’t regret later on for selling it for lower price.

Just a few days back I was able to successfully sell another domain with broker Phillip Hutauruk. The lead was from GoDaddy. The communication and the way Phillip Hutauruk handled the deal was really nice and I appreciate that. Although there was 20% commission but still I made good money on that. The domain was .com and it’s small town in Europe. It was sold for $7,500.

The same time I received email from broker at Afternic wanting the same domain. I knew it would be same buyer. The max offer from Afternic was $4k.

Once the domain was transferred to buyer’s account I am unable to see for what purpose he bought it. I will keep an eye on that.

I would recommend everyone to use Domain Name Syndication option at which definitely increases the number of inquiries and chances of selling more domains.

Any feedback is welcome no matter how good or good they are 😉

      Thanks Zaki 🙂

Lot of patience is required to squeeze out more $$$$.

Yeah, it was a nice sale. Always great doing business with DNS. The entire team is handles the lead very professionally and gives as much as information about the prospect which helps a lot in finalizing the deal easily.

congratulations! Question: how long does it take DNS to pay you the proceeds from the sale ? I know that they pay parking revenue only once a month … is it the same for sales ? Or do they pay you your money from domain sales immediately ?

    • AbdulBasit says:

      Thanks Bill

As this domain was sold through GoDaddy lead and I asked DNS about the payment and I have copied here what they said:

“It is hard to say when we will receive the payment from Godaddy. Their process is a bit slow, so it may be paid out with next months PPC.”

As we know about GoDaddy being slow in making payment so surely it will be coming along with next month’s PPC revenue.

If the domain is sold solely by yourself using DNS than deal is completed through and they make payment within 1-2 business days of completed transaction.

  4. Congrats AdbulBasit, both for your 100th post and for your high 4 figures sale!
Can you disclose the small town name?

      Thanks very much Arif 🙂

Just wanted to focus on getting maximum $$$$ out of each deal instead of quick flipping. I am more inclined towards holding and play waiting game which is going well so far….

It must be very rewarding to be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Domainning isn’t easy but you sure make it look that way.
