Hello and Assalamo Alaikum,
Today I wanted to share what domain acquisitions and sales I made so far this year and will share some of the purchases I did in the last couple of months:
288626.com, 982228.com, 668155.com – Bought several 6Ns last year and very few this year including these two of them. I buy all domains thinking of long term investment but if there is a decent offer, I do accept it.
AEHM.com, MBNI.com, SIBN.com, RIAM.com, ABWM.com, SGMI.com, AGAD.com, JMCL.com, CISG.com – I have been buying LLLL.com rather quickly than I did in past. I still see non CHIPS are undervalued and has plenty of room to improve in pricing so if your pocket allows you spend, buy some LLLL.com which you can get at bargain. Although I paid decent prices for each of them as I go after combination of letters in which I see lot of potential.
JamieLee.com – Is there any post of my acquisitions in which I didn’t mention a person name. I just love buying such type of names. Although very few sold to date.
BEB.org, CGL.org, PDR.org, TPA.org – I think they are undervalued right now like 4L .com non CHIPS. Although Chinese are not much into .org but there are plenty of non Chinese buyers (enduser) out there for buying a quality LLL.org
SpeedHero.com – My first domain with the word “hero” and reading the posts from Doron inspired me to buy this one đ
Liget.com – Every CVCVC.com has some value and I like this one although it doesn’t have any significant meaning other than “park” in Hungarian language.
MorningDew.com – I love these type of domains which can be used as brand for many different type of businesses.
KitchenAndBathroom.com – A three word .com with “and” in it but is a perfect domain for any kitchen and bathroom related company. Explains everything.
LymeLight.com – May be a type of sale what Mike Berken’s does it on regular basis. But nothing to worry when buying this as I won’t seek for that high sale price đ
ExpressPizza.com – Any startup or existing pizza company with this name?
ShopGreen.com – I would prefer to have GreenShop.com but that’s what I was able to get it. Still I like this name.
Feel free to share your acquisitions and if you wish, can comment about on my above purchases.
Let’s get into the sales part which I think will keep it short. I actually had so far 3 domain sales in the past couple of months
First two sales I cannot disclose the name due to buyer’s request. But the sale price was around mid 4 figs each.
The last domain sale which I made in February was of ThePropertyClub.com. There were a couple of interesting things in this particular sale which I wanted to share. First, the buyer approached me calling from UK and offered me £200. I politely rejected and told him I will sell for around 4-5K.
Next day, he called me again by offering this time 1K which was again rejected. At the same time he increased the offer to 1.5K. Again, my answer was the same.
May be the next day or a gap of one day, he called again and asked what will be the minimum I would accept. It was $4,000 and he accepted. Payment was made swiftly and deal done! Interesting part was that I made my first domain sale through a phone call when the buyer called at first. Although I have made very few sales in the past when I initially approached the endusers.
Last interesting thing, it was my first sale starting with word “The”. Took too long to make it first as I like domains with starting word “the”. I think of having around 20 domains starting with “the” and glad it started paying off from last month.
Feel free to share your domain sales and if you wish, can comment about on my above sales.
hi Abdul
I read all the time your list of buying and selling
I like a lot names you trade
can you please tell me your best site to sell domains?
thank you
nick
Thanks for your feedback Nick.
If I understood your question correctly, I park all my domains at DomainNameSales.com. People contact me from there and deal is concluded through Escrow.com. Have something else to ask, feel free to get in touch through contact page.
Best wishes!
thank you ABDUL
Nick
Some really nice pickups Abdul! Continued success to you in 2016 sir.
Thanks for your kind words and wish you all the best as well Tom đ
Thanks Abdul for sharing. One of my favorite reads
Glad you like it Shane đ
Alway love to see your and Elliot’s acquisitions and sales as well.
Congrats on both your acquisitions and sales. MorningDew.com is a fantastic name. Have you got it through auction? or by emailing the owner? How many bucks does it cost in average to get these kind of names?
Thank you
Thanks Mohammed Sameeruddin
I bought from GD auctions and considering today’s market, I think you may need to shell out 1-2K for such type of name.
You are awesome!
Thanks for sharing Abdul! Congrats to your success.
-Omar
Thanks for joining the party in commenting and for your kind words.
Best wishes Omar! đ
ShopGreen.com shouldn’t be regarded as a backwards version of GreenShop.com. I’d read it as an imperative verb, making it a call to action: “Shop Green!” As such, it’s not inferior to GreenShop.com.
Thanks Joseph for that explanation which is definitely helpful to me! đ
Similar phrase to ShopSmart, ShopCheap, or ShopLocal.
Yeah, great! Got the point đ
Some really good names on your list, I love MorningDew and ExpressPizza in particular. I recently picked up MorningGreens.com, Virtualisp.com, MakeItRich.com and AiMagazine.com.
Are you investing in any gtlds at all?
I love your posts, a lot of common sense stuff, wish you had them more often.
Look forward to the next one.
Noor
Thanks Noor for your feedback. I like your MakeItRich.com, AiMagazine.com (future name), MorningGreens (singular would be great yeah). IMO, you are buying some nice names which are definitely going to pay off well in future.
Not at all investing in new crappy gTLDs đ
Best wishes!
thank you, in the same niche I recently got RaiseMyMoney.com.
I agree with you 100% about the other gtlds. Let’s hope that these investments pay off. Great to get some sort of an endorsement from you.
Best,
Noor
At first glance reading RaiseMyMoney, I thought of charity. Good to see you are sticking to .com names and leaving the crap (new gTLDs) aside đ
Good luck!
Thank you, look forward to the next post.
have plenty of 6 7 8 N.com

Thanks for sharing your names. I think LLL.in CHIPS getting some attention so your domains might get some attraction. No idea how those 7N, 8N are going to do in future but holding for 1-2 years won’t bring in huge loss.
AbdulBasit,
Quite good price you got for a 3 words “The” domain đ
Congrats and keep the great work!
Yeah, but when PropertyClub.com is available at BIN for $49,000, my price was quite good for the buyer by simply adding “the” in front of it đ
Thanks and best wishes Andrea! đ
Watch out for PizzaExpress.com. I have eaten there a few times while living in London.
Thank you for sharing.
Kostas, I was thinking the same, but I didn’t want to “scare” AbdulBasit đ
Still remember when Pizza Express was listed on the LSE, I’ve been many times in London but I’ve never eaten in one of their locations, not yet at least …
I didn’t even check their site until now because my purpose for this domain was to sell this domain to some startup or an existing company who needs to upgrade their name. Anyhow, thanks for the tip and let’s see if they come after me for this name in whatever manner, I am ready to face them đ
“Express Pizza” isn’t trademarked as far as I can tell.
“Pizza Express” does not equal the “Express Pizza” in London. There’s tons of pizza businesses out there with the name “Express Pizza”, none of which are trademarked. A lot of potential upgrades concerning those businesses.
Thanks Ben for your feedback. Much appreciated đ
I meant to say : âExpress Pizzaâ does not equal the âPizza Expressâ in London.
Some awesome pickups!
I especially love MorningDew, ShopGreen and of course SpeedHero đ
Thanks Doron for your feedback. I was sure you would definitely like SpeedHero đ
Thanks for share your purchase and the report of the sales.
about: ThePropertyClub.com i think is cool to see that the .com is sold while the shorter TheProperty.club is taken but still in the hand of an estate agency (realestatecentre.com)
instead i do not understand LymeLight, is it a mispell for Limelight?
btw i see many things with Lyme.. starting from a foundation to also a book..
Glad you like it.
I wasn’t aware of theproperty.club being taken as I don’t check new gTLDs at all but thanks for sharing. I should at least check while selling .com to see if any new gTLDs owner is looking to buy my domain.
That misspelling Lymelight makes it brandable and I see many companies already there using this brand for different purposes.
There is always a chance of buying brandable domains at cheap price đ
Abdul, congrats on your sales. I like your LLLL’s. Most of them are pronounceable. Nice collection of LLL.org as well. ShopGreen.com can suit organic products.
Many thanks for your kind words LT and I appreciate your feedback on my acquisitions đ
Care to share some of your recent sales/purchases?
Sure. Unfortunately I did not have any good sale (>$5000) in last 5 months . In last few months, I sold 100+ hand registered 6N and 7N’s. Bought few generic real estate names on NameJet auctions. Missed couple of sales ($2000 range) due to bad negotiation.
I am sure you must have made good chunk of profit by selling those 100+ 6N/7N domains.
Good thing about you is that you are learning from your mistakes (Missed couple of sales ($2000 range) due to bad negotiation).
Thanks for sharing and best wishes! đ
Hi Abdul thanks for sharing your sales and suggestions on LLLL.com and LLL.org. Based on your article i bought DGMG.org, AOAB.org & ANLZ.net recently. Atleast how many years I can hold such type of domains?
Thanks Vijay for your feedback which is always helpful đ If those were .com, it would be great but since they are .org and .net, you will need to forget them for 5 years and keeps renewing it and during this period try to contact every potential endusers and see if you can see it. Mind you these LLLL .net/.org are slow in terms of selling so I would strongly suggest to focus only on .com (LLLL). Even these are slow if I am to hold them and wait for enduser to come and knock my door. But that’s what… Read more »
Hey Bro… Thanks for your suggestions.
Nice acquisitions! as usual most of the names are good. I really liked Joseph comment on ShopGreen I too thought that way. Also, congrats on sales too.
Thanks for your feedback Tauseef which is as always appreciated đ
Best wishes!
[…] I previously shared my January and February 2016 acquisitions together, today I wanted to show some more domains which I acquired in recent time. Just wanted to […]
ThePropertyClub.com is a very good domain name. Even though it took long but trust me any good investment takes time.
For sure. I totally agree with you!
