I relocated to Malaysia once again!

Hello everyone,

I know this will come as a surprise to many of my readers but yeah, I’ve very recently relocated to Malaysia once again. I first moved to Malaysia in 2019 and later went back to Pakistan on a temporary basis before moving to Turkey. I lived in the beautiful country and with the lovely people of Turkey for more than a year which helped in analyzing the situation for myself and my family in choosing the right place for us overall.

So here I am in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and if anyone wants to contact me via any means and/or meet in-person with me, feel free to get in touch and I’ll be happy to connect with you.

By the way, I’ve a WhatsApp group specifically made for Domainers in Malaysia and we’ve a few members already in there. Feel free to let me know if anyone is willing to join it. Kindly make sure you’re living in Malaysia.

Thank you!

Hi

I was the poster who asked you in Comments of your previous post where you were physically located

Malaysia (KL): great food, relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, safe, more affordable compared to Singapore, it’s very liveable (not just passing by as a tourist), all based on my past experiences

I plan to do a visit sometime in the near future, maybe live there for 2 or 3 years…

Cheers

Thanks for sharing Abdul Basit brother! By the way, can you speak the local language?

One advantage of Malaysia over Turkey is the wide use of English, as Malaysia is multi-cultural so English is the common language for business as well as social (in a multicultural group)

English is used in schools & universities there, many good international schools around

Language matters a lot in making you feel “comfortable” in a place without the language barrier of constantly worrying whether someone speaks English or not

The language issue must have factored in your decision of where to settle with your family

Hello, Abdul. I’m following you on abdulbasit.com, once i also strugle with domain names. I’m from Portugal and my name is Gilberto Rocha. I usually read your posts on your blog. I only have, currently, 11 domain names in my “Micro” portfolio, and i already sold some (3), on my “ridiculous” domaining “career”. I don’t have much money, so i whas tempted to offer you some info on available domain names – from my own research. I have six domain names available info that i will share with you, in a private way, like e-mail. You can use totally the… Read more »

Hello Abdul, I hope you and your family are fine. Congratulations on your exciting relocation to Malaysia! You’ve had quite a journey, moving from Pakistan to Turkey and now back to Kuala Lumpur. Your experiences in different countries must have provided you with a unique perspective on life and opportunities. This resonates with your journey with domaing which also has had quite some variety. It is nice to connect with domainers in the area via Whatsapp. It is important to build a community when in a new place. I hope you make wonderful connections and memories in Malaysia! I hope… Read more »
