FoxWHOIS – All in one domain checker software

Hello and Assalamo Alaikum,

Recently I came across a great software called FoxWHOIS which is especially designed for domainers looking to bulk check domains, drop catching domains with low-mid tier quality.

I haven’t tested any domain for catching so can’t say how good is that but I like for using bulk WHOIS lookup. Even if the GDPR is going to be implemented and WHOIS going blackout, I would still use this software for tracking the expiration and dropping date. This will still be helpful in showing which domains are registered and what is available. Also the registration and expiration dates along with domain status, etc.

Pheenix.com domain backordering service review

pheenix-backordering-companyHello and Assalamo Alaikum,

I haven’t published previous month’s parking revenue and it will be done by next month which will have combo of two months together.

It’s been several months since I have started backordering domains at Pheenix.com seriously. The word ‘seriously’ was added because when Pheenix.com was launched I jumped in to see the new service but it didn’t work in my favor because almost every time someone had already placed the backorder and that time Pheenix was taking backorders on first come first serve basis. I am always in favor of such system so I was trying my best to place backorders as quickly as possible.

When they got known to many of the domainers, they changed to auction system similar to NameJet and Snapnames since the start of 2013-08-01. I got an email from the CEO Tan Tran letting me know that from now onwards Pheenix will allow multiple backorders on domains.  For all domain names caught after 2013-08-01, if there are multiple backorders placed on the domain, then a 3 day private auction will be held.  Only customers that have an active backorder on the domain name prior to the domain name being caught will be allowed to participate in the private auction.

I just stopped backordering because I was attracted towards them with first come first serve basis and later it was changed. Tan was good enough to offer me 2 additional backorder credits which I refused to take at that time and took my credit back.

I still see the competition is a touch low at Pheenix compare to other platforms which are known to everyone but since I am sharing with you guys, the competition is going to be stronger now 😉

Fast forward today, I am actively using their service and quite happy with their success ratio. I would strongly suggest to use them along with NameJet and Snapnames to backorder domains.

What’s your experience with Pheenix and how things go with you while using that company to backorder domain names?

My first domain name through backorder

Before I start telling anything new I would like to rewind back and tell you about my first backordered domain which I did through SnapNames.com in mid 2006. The domain was TenTopManagementQuestions dot com which at that time had Google PR7. I wasn’t sure if that was fake or real Google PageRank. I just thought it has PR7 so let’s buy it and I can flip it for a lot more money. But as most of the domainers like me bought crappy domain which I had to drop next year. Although I had backordered another domain which was TenTopMarketingQuestions dot com and I was lucky to be outbid by the other person.

Lucky for me that like many other domainers I didn’t go crazy for buying lot of domains ever which to me is very good. I always wanted to read a lot and buy less in numbers. That’s why today I haven’t reached 200 domains mark but definitely be there at the end of this year.

So that was my first backordered domain and I would like to hear about your first back ordered domain ever.
