Five Figure Domain Sale and Parking Revenue for July 2014

Hello and Assalamo Alaikum,

Back from six figure sale to a five figure sale for which I can’t reveal much info other than the sale amount which was $20,000 and it was .com. Once again it was brokered through Jessica Ebanks of DomainNameSales and the sale was completed through Escrow.com. Always pleasure working with DNS team specially Jessica and it was swiftly done with Escrow.com which is the best escrow service.

Coming back to parking revenue of July for which I am publishing the stats a bit late but this is the area which I must focus to achieve one of my another goal for this year. Previous month wasn’t impressive although I didn’t add that many domains to my portfolio. Below is some of the parking stats which might be helpful to you in some way. This time I have added top 5 niches and CTR which was suggested by one of my friend Mohammed Zaki.

Total visitors – 117,000+

Total clicks – 5,000+

Total parked domains – 700

Total revenue – $550

Top 5 niche which made the most – Games, Health, VPN, News, Music

$$ made on a single day – $30

RPM – $5.2

CTR – 5.62%

To add something on above stats, there is one domain which is banned by Google and that received 26,000+ visitors with zero clicks and it was all paid per visitor and I have added those visitors in the above stats and excluded RPM and CTR from that. Also found that clicks have gone up compare to June 2014.

Added few domains in the last month month but instead of improvement, I saw significant decline but I will take that since having a good sale this month. There could be one reason of revenue drop due to summer where possibly advertisers might be keeping their budget tight. Many people are on vacations. I am hopeful to have some improvement this month and if not, I will have to make some changes in categories/sub-categories of domains which receive decent traffic to see if anything gets better…

Have you seen any drop in the parking revenue for the last month? Made any sale recently which you would like to share with us?

Parking revenue for June 2014 and other updates

Hello and Assalamo Alaikum,

I am always doing test and trial with my parked domains by changing the categories/sub-categories and see if the revenue increases. Most of the time I face decline which is not an issue because this is how we all learn and gain good/bad experiences. Last month June 2014 was the same case where the revenue dropped compare to the month of May 2014. Below is some of the parking stats which might be helpful to you in some way…

Total visitors – 95,000+

Total clicks – 4,900+

Total parked domains – 675

Total revenue – $630

Top niche which made the most – Games

$$ made on a single day – $65

RPM – $6

If you have checked the May 2014 revenue than you must have noticed that even after adding around 25 domains the revenue still dropped. As you know my goal is to reach $1,000 in parking revenue and that time I must be having 1,000 domains under my belt which means I am aiming to make $1 per domain every month on an average.

So looking at the above figures, I am behind my target and needs to keep the number of domains and revenue to be the same. Won’t mind if the revenue increases against the number of domains in my portfolio 😉

On the other side, I have been parking max 5 domain with Bodis and received an announcement from them which I thought to share with you.

“We are excited to announce that, starting this July, we will be processing our users’ payments even faster than before. As you know, we are constantly trying to improve our platform and our service. Therefore, we have decided to spend additional resources to process user payouts on our new NET 7 payment terms. That means that you will be paid out even faster from now on – in just one week after the end of a month.

We hope you are as excited about this as we are. If you have any questions regarding this change, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Bodis Support at support@bodis.com.

Sincerely,

The Bodis Team”

I think it’s good news for domainers who are using Bodis as their primary parking platform. Nothing big for me as I have parked very few domains with Bodis because they are banned by Google and DomainNameSales.com doesn’t pay that well for those names. Although they promised to make changes in future but I haven’t tried to park those domains at DNS recently. If any of you have parked Google banned domains with DNS and seen spike in revenue just let us know.

That’s it for now. Feel free to post a comment or suggestion if you have any. I will happily take it 🙂

Domain Parking Revenue for May 2014 which was record breaking

Domain-Parking-Revenue-for-May-2014-which-was-record-breakingHello and Assalamo Alaikum,

If you remember I was hoping to have better next month in parking as mentioned in my previous month’s parking revenue post and I got it right. I added some more domains to DNS and was able to hit the $900 mark!

I can sense the drop in revenue from this month because the domains which made significant revenue last month were having temporary traffic boost. From now onwards, I have decided to share some approx stats of my parking which might be useful for you in some way…

Total visitors – 110,000+

Total clicks – 6,200+

Total parked domains – 650

Total revenue – Won’t share the exact amount but it was over $900

Top niche which made the most for me – Telecommunication

$$ made on a single day – $54

Stay tuned for my upcoming posts as there is going to be some exciting news 🙂

Domain parking revenue for April 2014

Hello and Assalamo Alaikum,

It wasn’t one of the pleasant months in domain parking. Even if the revenue remains intact I would say it’s on the downward side because I have been adding several new domains every month to DomainNameSales.com parking platform.

At least 10 new domains are added under my DNS account but this time revenue went down. I have read for some other fellow domainers whose parking revenue have been down for the last month which is not a good sign. Although it was below $500 but well over $400 mark.

I made some category changes to some of my performing domains which resulted in less $$ but that was just one factor of having less revenue in last month.

I am hopeful to make not only $500 but well over that figure this month which has started quietly the same as previous one. I am confident because I will be adding some more quality domains which will help boost in revenue.

By the way, have you seen any downtrend in your parking revenue for the last month? Anyhow, I have some good news to share in my next post so stay tuned! 🙂

January and February 2014 domain parking revenue updates

Hello and Assalamo Alaikum,January-and-February-2014-domain-parking-revenue-updates

I just forgot to post the January revenue stats so I decided to put two months update together.

It’s been quite nice start off to new year for me. Didn’t sold a domain until last week (for which I will make a separate post) this month but was still happy with how things were going. Parking revenue is getting better as I am adding more domains to my portfolio all the time. As mentioned in one of my previous posts I have now over 500 domains and for the last two months January and February 2014 I am making over $500 p/month.

So now I can see the consistency in parking revenue quite a bit because when there is revenue in $500 range for the last 3 months there is some consistency but this must be growing because I am always adding some domains every month to my portfolio. Still my buying strategy is to buy domains which can sold down the road at high profit and don’t care if there is not much type-in traffic because I want to make big chunk out of that domain instead of making pennies every day. It looks like this strategy is paying off well to me slowly but steadily…

Any comments and feedback is welcome no matter how good or good they are 😉
